Sunny road-trip romance - choosing a spontaneous wrong turn together over the safe, expected version of life; celebrating getting happily 'lost on purpose' with someone instead of following the calendar version of things
The voice
Soulful, agile male lead; conversational verses, wide chantable choruses, falsetto lift on the word 'hand'
The sound
Syncopated acoustic guitar riff, elastic melodic bass, brushed snare into tight pop drums, muted Wurlitzer/organ, mandolin-like pluck, subtle 808 sub under choruses, handclaps
