Nostalgic ode to playing hookie from work as an adult - game shows, cereal, couch gravity, MTV/VH1 reruns, and the guilt-free joy of a stolen day off versus the responsibilities waiting outside
The voice
Male lead - sleepy, clever, half-awake, smooth and funny, surgical timing, dreamy background harmonies on hooks
The sound
Dusty drums, slow rubbery bass, warm Rhodes, soft VHS static, remote-click percussion, cozy synth pads, lazy brass stabs, modern polished low end
