A couple reassuring each other not to let the relationship go cold despite doubt and distance - trust and vulnerability across a summer-night duet
The voice
Male/female duet - lazy-confident melodic rap verses from male (Bieber-esque, experienced), silky lower-register airy female call-and-response, stacked falsetto harmonies
The sound
Warm sub bass, bouncy hip-hop drums, amapiano log drum pulse, crisp rim clicks, glassy keys, airy synth pads, tropical percussion, fuzz soul guitar with wah-filtered bluesy answers
