A DJ's playful, commanding catchphrase/nickname used to control a packed dance floor - charisma and swagger behind the turntables
The voice
Charismatic, mischievous, effortlessly cool rap delivery; chopped vocal stabs and scratch-vocal sound design used as an instrument; call-and-response, rhythmic ad-libs
The sound
Punchy drums, rubbery basslines, scratch/turntablist FX, halftime breakdown groove, high-BPM final dance run
